Crime for the most part is very low in Barnesville. I can't remember a time that I left my house and didn't pass a police officer on the road. The police are always surveying the community assuring that everything is running smoothly.
Recently, winter's have been very cold with a great deal of snow. We have had school cancelled multiple times due to road conditions being hazardous. The roads were covered in snow and very slick or icy.
The small town allows individuals to get almost everything necessary. When it comes to luxurious items, you have to travel at least 30 minutes away.
