Barboursville, WV is a wonderful neighborhood to raise your family! The commute is excellent. You can easily be downtown Huntington in 5 mins and the mall in the exact opposite direction. Barboursville is every middle class family's dream.
    Review Barboursville
It is such a quiet, quant little town. People are out walking dogs and just strolling through the streets. The park is beautiful with a lot of activities and is a very safe neighborhood. I would like to see the the elementary school expand or more teachers. There school is very good, but very crowded.
West Virginia is my home, and I doubt I would be able to call any other state that word. I live in the tri-state area, so there's always places to go if you don't want to eat or shop in the same place. There is a new strip mall beginning to be built along what is a very popular commute road, Route 60, which will definitely bring more attraction to the personal area. I think it's beginning to shape up here.
