Working in Bandon
Bandon is a lovely place to have grown up in. It is hard to go anywhere without running into someone I know. I feel safe going out and about wherever it may be in the small town. Has a lot of charm. The beaches are beautiful and a fun place for families to enjoy!
Bandon is a seaside town on the southern coast of Oregon. Population around 3,000 people. There is year around fishing. The weather is very moderate, not too hot in the summer and not too cold in the winter. We do get a lot of rain and fog. The landscape is very green and lush with wild berries and mushrooms in abundance. The beaches are clean, accessible and wild at times.
It is not extremely diverse, and it can be hard adjusting to life here. It is fine because it's pretty easy to get used to it, but difficult because of the lack of activities and diversity.
