I’ve lived in Baldwin going on 3 years. I have a wife and 2 children. My kids play in the street or other kids yards on my street constantly. We having a group of 5-6 houses all different age groups on our street that we randomly go to and talk on a regular basis. Neighbors are more than happy to help each other out when needed, either checking on houses or letting dogs out if running late. When I moved to Baldwin I wanted a neighborhood that I lived in as a child. I got that here. Schools are good, plenty of parks and ball fields. Baldwin is a very large area, so it can be different from area to area.
Baldwin is a great neighborhood to raise a family. The borough has good schools and relatively affordable housing.
I like how everyone in the community is so friendly. It’s a very nice environment and good for kids to get close and become friends. Everything is close and it is easy to get from place to place.
