The crime in our area has become more and more prevalent over the past years. Its gotten worse but thankfully we do see some visibility of police. I wouldn't say that I feel 100% secure but I know that if something was to happen there would be someone that would be willing to help me, especially if they were there while the incident was happening. I feel that we need more security because the more the better. We should not be in terror of what might happen but we should take precaution and do whats needed around us to keep our families safe and our entire community.
This community is completely inactive when it comes to the homeowners association. No one is interested in participating and only have something to say when they have a complaint. There is very little community spirit. On the other hand we tend to be fairly quiet, very little loud, crazy, or offensive stuff going on.
I live in Balch Springs, Texas where you can experience four different seasons in the same day. I'm undecided on if I would choose to live here again if I could. Even though the people are amazing an sweet I want to be able to travel and hopefully settle in a different place. Balch Springs is kinda small but the stores and shopping centers are really near and you can find anything and everything. It's a nice place but if the community worked together it could be even better.
