The police are present, and can occasionally be seen patrolling the area. There isn't much crime here, and the usual offenses aren't too serious - usually theft or the occasional drug problem. Overall the area feels safe, and I've lived here all my life without any major complaints.

The winters are always cold and snowy, but the summers balance it out. Fall and spring are my favorites, as the weather is just comfortable enough to be outside or in without any special precautions needed against anything but a potential thunderstorm.
There aren't a lot of options other than a few chain restaurants, and even the food there is sometimes worse than it should be. I don't know much about the drinking end as I'm only 18.
