Working in Aventura
Very clean and safe city! At least every other month there is a community event at the local park. Very well lit, an excellent library, and a great exercise path to walk, run, or skate on. Schools are all right, but don't answer bullying problems. There's a free shuttle service and community organized trips to local attractions in Dade county. People that live here are mostly Jews, old people, or latinos.
Aventura is absolutely beautiful but the traffic and people are horrible! Very religious jewish community and extremely rude people. Traffic is stressful and insane. I takes half an hour just to get on 95 passed the Aventura Mall. No one knows how to drive. You will see every day someone stopped in the right lane at a green light because they decided to make a left instead. When I moved here 3 years ago I thought people were friendly because they would stop and talk to me. I though how sweet, turns out they are just nosey. For example: "Cute dog, whats his name?" Normal right? turns into... does he have papers? is he registered with the association? do you pick up after him? Ugh I'm looking to move ASAP! Again Aventura itself is beautiful but the people and traffic are by far the worst in the state! You'll regret buying here so I suggest renting first.
Aventura is considered a wealthy, rich town with the beautiful Aventura mall in its center and sky high complexes. The streets are new and the apartments and houses are beautiful. There are many high-end resturants and stores.
