I have lived here my whole life. I grew up on the golf course. Aurora taught me a lot about skinned knees and growing pains as a youth, and now its schools are prepping me well to send me to college. Most recent alumni I've spoken to have said their workload is actually far less rigorous than it had been at AHS. Apart from its schools, it's filled with parks and places to relax. Anywhere you go you will find trees and wildlife and in some areas, sand and water. Aurora is truly my favorite place in the world to be, but then again I am a homebody. Anyway, it's great here and if you're considering moving, do it. If you have kids they'll grow up in a safe place with great schools, and if not you'll find a lot of exciting nightlife opportunities here or in the surrounding Cleveland area/downtown.

I love Aurora. I am home grown there and its a beautiful town. We have a town center that gets decorated for Christmas and we have a tree lighting ceremony. Just 10 minutes away from pretty much anywhere in the town is our shopping outlets. I love Aurora Farms, it's a great place to go to hang out with friends and enjoy time with your family.
It's a really small town full of upper-middle-class families. The kids are sheltered and a little reckless, and most families aren't willing to let you into their circles. Why would they, when they've all known each other since practically birth? I will say though, that if you can get in there, they're the most loyal group of people you'll ever meet. You'll never see more people turning up to support the football team, or girl's basketball, or the marching band.
