I've grown up in Auburn my whole life. It is a beautiful place to live. There is hardly any trash on the sides of the road, the landscape is beautiful, the people are beautiful, the schools are beautiful, even downtown Auburn is beautiful! This city is filled with kind people. You can walk down the street and people will say hello to you, or even a "War Eagle!" if you're lucky. The only downside to Auburn is the nightlife. If you're looking for a wholesome, occasionally boring, place to live; Auburn is the city for you! With a low crime rate, the nightlife is just that, low. Auburn is an amazing city to raise children in. Auburn is safe, beautiful, and friendly. War Eagle!

The most beautiful village on the plains, filled with football, great food, and wonderful people. Every weekend is an adventure, although we are a small town. We are quickly growing; almost every turn in Auburn there is construction, but that doesn’t keep the people down! It is a wonderful life here and I would recommend to all. The public schools are ranked #6 in Alabama. Our brand new High school is not only an incredible learning environment, but a great view. Any parent/child is lucky to be apart of the Auburn family. It truly is a tight-nit community that is more like a family. It is home.
Auburn is an amazing school!

The two biggest issues with Auburn are:

1. The rank AU is for engineering on national charts is not proportionate to the level of difficulty. AU is a great school, but it should not be in the top ten most difficult to get an A in.

2. The engineering professors are not necessarily good at teaching. I've come across mediocre professors who do not care about their students.
Disclaimer: I am not blaming my low GPA on them, I think students generally need to teach the material to themselves, however, having a good and caring professor would really help.
