I have been living in Atlanta for 18 years now and I absolutely love it! Atlanta is filled with many opportunities and it is very affordable to live there. There are many places to visit and its restaurants are amazing. Not to mention it's fun parks and museums in which I visit every so often. Atlanta has a variety of malls and shops to go to like Lenox Mall, Phipps Plaza, Atlantic Station, etc. The Mercedes Benz Stadium is one of my favorites, they hold all kinds of events there and the view inside the stadium is beautiful. Atlanta is also very diverse, it's very different from any other city I've visited. It's also a great city to go to if you're looking for jobs, because the networking there is extraordinary, you will always run into someone that's in the industry or career field you want to go in.

Atlanta is a great place to grow up! The public schools are amazing and one of the best in the South! Atlanta is relatively safe. I grew up in Atlanta and never had problems with crime or not feeling safe, but I would recommend not going south of downtown. It’s pretty safe to walk around at night, but I wouldn’t recommend it in downtown or places south of there. It is very family friendly and has many fun things and opportunities. It is also pretty cheap for a big city! It is a very healthy city, but I wouldn’t call it in the foothills or by the beach, but we have a lot of trails to bike or run in. ATL is one of the most diverse places ever. There is a lot of traffic though. There are so many job opportunities. Another thing I like about Atlanta is it is a southern city, but it doesn’t have a southern feel to it.
Atlanta is one of my favorite cities to visit on the weekends. With popular destinations such as Ponce City and Krog Street Market, grabbing a meal has never been easier or more delicious. If you are looking to be active, I suggest visiting Centennial Olympic Park or the Belt Line for a brisk jog or just a mild stroll to experience Atlanta's scenery. Not to mention the popping college scene with facilities for Georgia State State University and Georgia Tech providing beautiful campus tours as well. For your shopping needs, I suggest trying stores like Buffalo Exchange or stores within Ponce City Market to find a one-of-a-kind piece. There is always something to do in Atlanta!
