Atlanta, GA is a well known city in the South. It hosts the largest international airline, Hartsfield Jackson Airport, and provides many family-oriented activities. For example, the Botanical Gardens is a great place to get outside with the nature! We also have a fun amusement park, Six Flags Over Georgia. Along with all these outdoor activities, Atlanta offers a variety of places to eat like the Sun Dial Restaurant downtown. Now if you want to get away from big things, Atlanta has many small towns with lots of character. One good example is Marietta, GA which is my hometown!

Atlanta is one the most underrated cities on the East Coast! There is so much to do, I am going to have to summarize it all so this review doesn't drag on. One a weekly basis, the city offers various family friendly events, arts and cultural festivals, a hip nightlife, historical events, and so much more. The Beltline (an outdoor walkway that connects the inner neighborhoods) has brought so much life to Atlanta. You can spend a whole weekend walking it and visiting various shops, restaurants, all while marveling at local artist's installations and awesome street art. Atlanta also has some of the top universities and hospitals in the nation. Not into city life? Just jump in a car and drive an hour north to be surrounded by mother nature and enjoy scenic views and hikes. There is really so much to do in this beautiful, culturally diverse city- everyone will feel at home here!
Atlanta is a beautiful city with many fun things to do. It is slowly becoming a pedestrian friendly place, but still needs to improve upon this. There are many great places to eat a variety of ethnic dishes. Like any large city, you must lock your doors and not leave valuables in your car. Traffic is a nightmare! The cost of housing is skyrocketing while the average income is below many thriving cities. There is a lot of interesting historical sights if you know where to find them. The High museum is very nice and has world class exhibits. Other area museums are nice, but small. Depending on your income level, hobbies, and likes Atlanta can be a great place to live.
