Atlanta is one of my favorite cities to visit on the weekends. With popular destinations such as Ponce City and Krog Street Market, grabbing a meal has never been easier or more delicious. If you are looking to be active, I suggest visiting Centennial Olympic Park or the Belt Line for a brisk jog or just a mild stroll to experience Atlanta's scenery. Not to mention the popping college scene with facilities for Georgia State State University and Georgia Tech providing beautiful campus tours as well. For your shopping needs, I suggest trying stores like Buffalo Exchange or stores within Ponce City Market to find a one-of-a-kind piece. There is always something to do in Atlanta!

Anything you ever wanted to do, you can do in Atlanta! The Greater Atlanta area has a heavy Arts and Culture environment, and a huge "Foodie" movement. There are several Museums in the vicinity, as well as one of the best Aquariums around. Lot's of family fun attractions are available, such as the Atlanta Zoo, and the Six Flags Over Georgia/White Water Amusement Park. Definitely, a great place to visit, but for the residents, the heavy traffic volumes can be a real headache. Unfortunately, the light rail system there (MARTA), doesn't go that far out beyond the city proper. Hopefully, an expansion of the transit system in the near future will happen to help alleviate the heavy congestion on the interstates that run through the area.
Atlanta is a great city! The layout is very urban and screams that "big city" lifestyle, featuring a wide array of activities, paid and free, a diverse population (politically, religiously, ethnically, etc.) and a massive array of universities, as well as some critically acclaimed public and private schools.

One famous issue with the city is the car traffic - it's horrible. There is public transportation that is being expanded, but is currently somewhat lackluster. Crime is not exorbitant in most areas, but it is a pressing issue. Aside from that, Atlanta is a great city!

There are affordable areas to live in as well as expensive ones, as well as safer areas and more dangerous ones, but that's the case with just about any city. Houses and apartments are being put up all around down on a regular basis. As a young person, I haven't had difficulty finding somewhere cheap and safe to live.

Great town!
