Ashland is a great place to raise a family in a very safe and diverse neighborhood. After moving from charlotte, NC we were looking for a similar place in MA that was very affordable, close to commute, within 5 miles of all the stores that we frequently shop at , close to major highways and most importantly, great people who took pride in their community. Ashland fit the bill perfectly. We love Indian food and were thrilled to know that there were plenty of options nearby. That was the icing on the cake!

Ashland is fantastic town! Although it may not seem like much at first, Ashland is a town with great and wonderful people. The school system is amazing and prepares children for college. Ashland additionally has a great farmers market where people can get fresh food and interact.
Sleepy Suburb of Boston. Great town for commuting for it is half way between Worcester and Boston. You never want to commute more than a half hour for work and Ashland is approximately 30 minutes from both! Commuter rail acess makes it even easier! Lots of beautiful homes and nature to be found. The ashland reservoir is a beautiful lake for all to enjoy. Average cost of living for any Massachusetts town. Mainly white people but the town seems to be become more diverse as of late which i consider a plus. Im currently raising my 5 year old here and am pleased.
