I love this town! It is a very tight knit community where everyone knows everyone. I would love to see some improvements in safety though. There are some neighborhoods that tend to see more crimes and issues thqn others. I think this needs to be adressed to help create a more safe atmosphere for all the children and families of this area. Overall though, very nice community with a variety of shops and restaurants and highly ranked schools.

I have lived here my whole life. I love that I can walk the downtown area to restaurants , shops, and the train station all within 3 blocks. Within a few blocks, families can attend a show at the Metropolis or attend an outdoor concert in the summer. We have festivals in the summer that the whole city comes out to attend.
Wouldn’t trade this town for anything!
Arlington heights is a great town in the North-West Suburbs of Chicago. It gives a sense of community to anyone who lives in it. Within the Arlington Heights community there are so many people who are willing to give a helping hand to one another. Just last year our city had the motto “City of Good Neighbors”. The public schools are wonderful and give each and every student an opportunity to learn and grow to the best of their abilities. The resources found within the school are up to date and our schools are very well and properly funded. The Park Distirct offers so many different types of classes ranging from cooking to yoga to child development. There is probably a class for everything you’d want to learn to do or just do for fun! The downtown of Arlington Heights has a train that can take you right into Chicago!! Overall, I’m so happy I got to live and grow up in Arlington Heights
