I dreaded the day that I would have to move away from my Uptown Chicago apartment. I really believe Chicago is one of the best cities in the world; however, my life was moving in a direction where a single family home would best suit me. Arlington Heights offers picture perfect tree lined neighborhoods, and includes parks perfectly spread about, there is even a public pool which is amazing! Additionally, there is public transportation that leads right down to Chicago, which is perfect for commuters or those who still miss the city! Arlington Heights offers a great down town area which also includes an open area dinning experience and live music on the weekends.
Arlington Heights, Illinois is a wonderful town to live in. Having lived here since 2004, I have seen firsthand the many benefits this town has to offer. From its excellent schools to its vibrant community, Arlington Heights is a great place to call home.
One of the best things about Arlington Heights is its schools. The schools here are some of the best in the state, and they offer students a top-notch education. Another great thing about Arlington Heights is its sense of community. There are always events going on in town, from concerts in the park to parades and festivals. This helps to create a strong sense of community, and it's easy to get involved and meet new people.

I have never faced any problems in my community. In fact, I have had the privilege to provide community service. Giving back to the community boosts my self confidence. To me, volunteering isn’t about ensuring world peace or donating every last penny I have. I think about volunteering as a way to spend some of my time to make another person’s life better. Even to the smallest degree. Perhaps this mindset is the reason I aspire to provide nonprofit organizations with the financial resources they need to better support others.
