Arlington Heights Reviews
I think it has great school systems. I've been living here and have gone to Rolling Meadows High School (District 214) and it was full of amazing teachers, amazing academic and sports programs. Arlington Heights downtown is also known as a transit-orientated development meaning it was thoughtfully planned to be pedestrian friendly. It provides walkable and biking access to local businesses, restaurants, and other stores to the residing community members. It also has the Metra (commuter rail) in the middle of the downtown area to provide residents connection to other municipalities along the Union Pacific Northwest Line such as Mt. Prospect, Des Plaines, Jefferson Park, and the City of Chicago. I love that I have the option and capability to take the Metra because I am a public transportation enthusiast and aim to reduce my carbon footprint my driving less so having that service in Arlington Heights makes me very grateful and happy to live in Arlington Heights.
Great town! Love the cute downtown area with shops, restaurants, and bars! A lot of opportunities for fun family outings. Farmers Market, festivals, fun night life for the suburbs. Awesome places to eat for date nights. Schools are the best in the area. Overall great place for families and singles.
I love this town! It is a very tight knit community where everyone knows everyone. I would love to see some improvements in safety though. There are some neighborhoods that tend to see more crimes and issues thqn others. I think this needs to be adressed to help create a more safe atmosphere for all the children and families of this area. Overall though, very nice community with a variety of shops and restaurants and highly ranked schools.
