Appleton, WI is awesome! This is my 3rd year living here! I am located near the Fox River Mall, which includes Target, Walmart, Goodwill and some restaurants. There are 2 highways: Highway 41 runs straight through Appleton, and goes down towards Chicago, making it easier to get cities around you. 441 connects both sides of Appleton to make your commute from one side to the other smooth. Typically, you have stores on both sides of town so its convenient. A farmers market is held in the summer. You can buy local produce, hear local musicians, and see vendors. The vibe is upbeat, and it makes the weekends so fun. The Performing Arts Center (PAC) is the home to entertainment. You can go to bridal shows, to seeing a Broadway play! Appleton is also located 25 mins south of Green Bay, 20 mins north of Oshkosh, and 1.5 hrs from Milwaukee.

I have lived in Appleton my entire life and I can proudly say that Appleton is a great place to live. I also believe my parents would agree that it is an amazing city to raise children. My parents raised 11 kids, moving from California to Appleton and they love the private and safe neighborhoods that Appleton has. I like that Appleton is small enough to be able to stay connected with your community but also big enough where there are many opportunities available. I also am not the biggest fan of the cold winters we have here but I think that all the other aspects rise above that and makes it a great city!
Appleton has been my home for my whole life. I grew up here and when to school here! Appleton is a very family friendly place to live. It also is growing with more businesses and shopping places. Downtown Appleton is very lively every day. Every Saturday morning there is a big farmers market and there is also Oktoberfest which is an over sized farmers market and many organizations cook lots of food! Appleton is located in the Middle of the fox valley and is considered one of the best places to live in Wisconsin! There are many parks and bike friendly areas where many family and friends can come together and enjoy life!
