I love living in East Texas where my neighbors are friendly and helpful and the country atmosphere is beautiful! I would love to raise children here because I feel safe. It never gets too cold and if it is cold, it doesn't stay that way for long. There are berry farms to pick berries, a local farmers market to buy fruits and vegetables, trails to ride bikes and take walks and a new water park for the family during the summer. There are creeks that run through town, beautiful parks, including a dog park, historical features, and it doesn't take longer than 10 minutes to get where your going. There are two lakes within 10 miles of town to go fishing and camping. I enjoy living where I can raise farm animals and grown my own garden.
