A very good sense of community with various fairground events throughout the year. However, I would enjoy a growth in the number of locally-owned businesses and eateries.
Angleton is a friendly small town, very pleasant town to live in. I would like to see it grow with more businesses to bring money into the community to support local schools and community activites.
In my experience in living in Angleton I would say it is a mostly peaceful place. The population is at a pretty good number somewhere around 18 to 20 plus thousand people. The crime rate is pretty low compared to most places I have been to or visited in my life. Overall I believe that I would choose Angleton again if I was asked to pick a place to live because its just a nice easy going city with friendly people and should see future population increase due to new job opportunities opening up in the surrounding areas.
