It's a pretty nice town, especially if you like the woods and a more rural, simple town vibe. Neighboring towns can be a bit much sometimes, or a bit rude in my experience.
I was born and raised in Andover, so my heart is naturally inclined to both this town and Sussex County. One of my favorite things about it is the beautiful scenery and nature that we live within. There are many lakes, rivers, parks, and historic places to visit and enjoy the outdoors in. Nature is preserved very well in this town. It also has that small town feel, which I'm appreciate of. One of the downsides is that it is very far from all the places I work and travel to on a regular basis which makes commuting, challenging. But other than that, I love living where I live!
Andover is a lovely place to start a family. It has local restaurants and diners that really accentuate the NJ small town feel. There are lakes and hiking trails, downtown strip of antique stores, and many other fun things to do.
This town is extremely safe and beautiful. I did find in my time in the town between age ten and eighteen that there is not much to do for kids and teens
Andover is a very unique town full of old thrift shops, run down buildings, as well as brand new ones. My favorite part about this town is the family run thrift shops that are full of local merchandise! If I had to change one thing, I would make it a bit cleaner.
Andover keeps getting better. Beautiful park system with state and local parks for plenty of recreation options. More shops are coming into town too. Good location for Rt 15, 80, and 206.
Andover in a beautiful town. The community of Andover in very involved whether in be yoga in the park or childrens rec teams or even senior trips. It is a safe and clean town. Andover is a small town but a friendly one.
