I was born and raised in Andover, so my heart is naturally inclined to both this town and Sussex County. One of my favorite things about it is the beautiful scenery and nature that we live within. There are many lakes, rivers, parks, and historic places to visit and enjoy the outdoors in. Nature is preserved very well in this town. It also has that small town feel, which I'm appreciate of. One of the downsides is that it is very far from all the places I work and travel to on a regular basis which makes commuting, challenging. But other than that, I love living where I live!
Andover is a very unique town full of old thrift shops, run down buildings, as well as brand new ones. My favorite part about this town is the family run thrift shops that are full of local merchandise! If I had to change one thing, I would make it a bit cleaner.
Andover is a lovely place to start a family. It has local restaurants and diners that really accentuate the NJ small town feel. There are lakes and hiking trails, downtown strip of antique stores, and many other fun things to do.
