What a pleasant surprise! Anderson is a bit of a hidden gem that offers you access to just about everything you might want, all within 15 minutes of downtown Cincinnati and 20 minutes to the airport. From the parts of Anderson that border the Ohio River valley to the northern area that borders Mariemont and Newtown, Anderson has something for everyone.
I love that I am walking distance away from the upgraded Anderson Towne Center, which I have seen grow in my 16 years of living in Anderson Township. There are several maintenance shops to assist you with your car and any of your other personal belongings, and the Library is always rich in its supply of books and classes! It also doesn't hurt that all my closest friends live nearby as well. Also, downtown is only a 20 minute drive from home, so attending fun events like Oktoberfest, Taste of Cincinnati, and Reds games is easy.
Anderson Township has come a long way in terms of development over the last decade. There are definitely plenty of activities and attractions offered here, such as several health and fitness centers, restaurants of various ethnic cuisines, shopping mall, parks, festivals, car dealerships, a top-rated hospital... the list is endless! And of course, the community is overall friendly and welcoming to people of all backgrounds. Definitely a fantastic place to live in and even raise a family. Anderson is also home to many great educational institutions that prepare well for college.
