I love living here! I grew up in this area camping, boating and hiking. There are two beautiful lakes very close by and the mountains surround us. The only problems I find with the area is the high rate of crime and drug use. We are very close to the "golden triangle" where pot is grown.

I live in a small town of about 10,000 people. The best part is that it is a small town most everyone knows everyone. Some things that could be better in my town are safety, and jobs. We have a small police department however my town is close to the freeway and their are always some high speed chase, someone trying to commit some sort of violent crime. We used to have a strip mall as the years go on it grows emptier and emptier. across the street we have a Walmart Super Center and small strip mall. At one point our town was bombing.
It's a nice quiet town. Not a lot to do for night life but there are tons of things to do if you like the outdoors. Lakes, mountains, rivers all within 45 minutes. The police force is nice and helpful. They are really about cutting crime. They recently added a new k9 and task force to make sure anyone with warrants or on patrol are not getting in more trouble.
