Small communities are nice to make you feel safe. Unfortunately when you live in a rural area the drug crime increases, due to less law enforcement for a large area. One of the larger employers just announced they will be closing their plant by the end of September. This leaves 280 people looking for employment and no where to find a job. But when this is the life style you want to live, you find ways to make it work.
This is a rural area, so you don't see the police a lot, but they are there when you need them. Because of the larger open area, you do have more drug crime that is difficult to prove. Otherwise major crime is not very prevalent.
