Amboy Township Reviews

3 reviews
Amboy, Illinois is a small rural community located about two hours from downtown Chicago. It's primary sources of employment include, but are not limited to, agriculture, manufacturing, and food service. The area is referred to as "the camping center of Northern Illinois" due to five area campgrounds in the area, including the United States' largest private campground. The tourism generated by these attractions draw most of Amboy's business during the summer months while causing disruptions to daily life to locals.
