Alva is a very family friendly town. It has what you need for day to day living and more. The town has many churches to choose from and join. Most of the people are down to earth friendly. It is a very safe and affordable. The college keeps the town full of youth and keeps it stocked with new and friendly faces. Alva is getting new stores and apartments and keeps it looking modern and fresh. The park is safe and well kept and hosts many communities activities. I would recommend Alva.

The town of Alva is quite a small one, but the connection between the residents of this town is everything but that. Ever since I've moved into this town everyone has made me and my family feel extremely welcomed and made us feel at home. For such a small community, everyone is extremely close, basically like family. I've never felt like I was in danger because of the closeness of the community and the way that everyone watches out for everyone else. This is one of the best towns I have ever lived in and I still love every second of living in this wonderful city.
Alva is a nice size for a college town. The only shopping is Walmart, a grocery store and a few boutiques. It is the biggest town around for about 45 miles. The next college town is Enid, about 2 hours away. The people are friendly. The schools are nice.
