Small town feel yet expanding and growing with a great horse track and everything you need for doctor's, entertainment, grocery shopping and more.
Here in Altoona, we have a few big attractions. Adventureland is a large theme park that brings in families from all over the state. Prarie Meadows Racetrack and Casino attracts many adults. In August, we have the Iowa State Fair, which mass amounts of people come to not only see the attractions, but eat loads and loads of fried food on a stick!
Some poorer developments have "cookie cutter" houses, but the majority have different builds and wide ranges of prices.
