Fantastic town to live in and raise a family. Small town yet very busy between late Spring and Mid Fall. To live here you must love small town, tight community feel, Lakes and Mountains. Basically outdoor activities. Close to at least 5 big towns and cities, between 20-45 minute drive. Town is working on improving family activity areas. It has 2 beaches at the Bay with two boat launches, one land band stand and one water band stand. Wonderful community participation on Halloween and so much more. In the winter the Bay is Ice runway for little planes to land on and the town has Winter festival on frozen lake. I can go on and on about how wonderful the town is and it's not done with it's improvements. So glad we've moved here a little over a year ago.
Good for someone who doesn't like population. Very dead and extremely small and tight community. Everything is closed until summer.
It has a Small town feel and friendly people. There are lots of opportunities for outside activities. Lots of hiking trails and water activities. It is not far from the ocean and the mountains.
