I grew up in Alpine and never had any problems with the town! Stores are great, the people are great, and generally is just a nice, quiet place to live. The only problem about living in Alpine is that it's pretty far away from the city, but it is worth it if you enjoy living in a quiet town.
Alpine is a nice, quaint town east of downtown San Diego. You walk int the local store and always see a familiar face and friendly smile!
Alpine has been an awesome town to grow up in. Being a small town, everyone knows each other, people are extremely nice, and overall we are a very tight-knit community. I have honestly never met someone who has been or lived here and said that they didn't love it. The only change that I could see is potentially having more restaurants in town. Due to Alpine being so small, many residents are afraid of Alpine becoming too big. I feel quite the opposite though. I believe that the already great city of Alpine could be made much better by it becoming bigger. Not only would it cut down the commute time to almost any place you could go, but it would also attract a brand new community to Alpine. Diversity is one of the things that Alpine has always struggled with. By making Alpine more attractive to those who have never been here, I believe that the issue of diversity with be solved, new people flocking her while they can.
