I grew up in Aliquippa and I am proud to be from Quip! We are all family. The café on Franklin Avenue is one of my favorite spots. Great people that always welcome me with open arms. They show everyone love.
Aliquippa is often perceived as a negative place that's not safe for families. Aliquippa has a home like feel and is very family oriented full of loving people. That's what makes Aliquippa different from the towns around it. You will not find the same amount of passion and love anywhere else. What makes my experience average is because there isn't a lot of student activities offered the youth of the community.
As a new resident to Aliquippa, I was happy to see some growth in businesses. I have heard that the area is in a period of regrowth. I hope to see more advancement. About 15 minutes from many business like walmart , target and panera, but it would be nice to have more opportunities come into the city of Aliquippa and the surrounding townships.
