I like Alhambra because of its numerous scrumptious restaurants that won't empty your pockets! Also, the neighborhood is great. There are a lot of Asians in the city. Additionally, there has been a stigma that Asians are not good drivers and there is some truth to that. The streets are clean and it smells like food most of the time, again because of the various food that are located in here. Overall, I like this neighborhood.

I work in this area and impressed with a lot of things here. Firstly, this area has a lot of place to spend your time - restaurants, cinemas, stores, gyms, walking places. Their is a lot of Chinese people here, but they are very nice! Also you can find the Farmers Market here, so you can buy the healthy food. It is always a lot of policemen cars here, that make me feel safely. Very good area!
Over the years, the city of Alhambra has continued to renovate and diversify itself as a community and as a place of business. As a part Hispanic woman growing up in a predominantly Asian community, I have been exposed to a culture I may have known nothing about if I had been raised elsewhere. Alhambra is home to many small, family-owned restaurants, serving up San Gabriel Valley's best Asian cuisine. I may never have eaten an authentic bowl of pho or ever stepped foot in a dim-sum restaurant. I may have never had the opportunity to know just how delicious chicken feet actually are. Over the years, more families of other ethnic backgrounds have started to settle down here, and have brought bits and pieces of their culture as well. You can find Asian, Mexican, American, Indian, Irish, and even Southern influences in almost every family owned business on this very street, which makes this a great city to live in.
