Algoma Reviews

Growing up in a small town had both advantages and disadvantages. I enjoyed all the encouragement that was given from community members. However, there was a lack of diversity. If I could do it again, I would chose to grow up in a bigger town so I had more opportunities for both myself and my family.
There are many shops downtown, and the economy looks like it's starting to pick up more. I am noticing more tourism within the area I have noticed that more businesses are opening in the area. The reason the local business is "okay" is because many people my age don't wish to come to Algoma for the weekend to go shopping. Everyone thinks about going to larger cities, such as Green bay, to do all of their shopping. Business in my area is just for local convenience or tourism.
Crime is very low in Algoma, WI. It is a small town. The only crime I have ever heard about was adolescent children creating mischief somehow.
