Aledo is an amazing town. It is perfect to raise kids and is very close knit. The homes are affordable and everything in town is walking distance. It's close to the quad cities so commute time if you work outside Aledo, is very short. I'm

I like having the basics close. Living in a rural area you don't have access to much. It may cost a little more but you are able to find almost everything you need. The local farm store expanding to Include lumber into its inventory was a great help. I love the small town feel with the accessibility of bigger cities.
