Albrightsville is very peaceful and a great place to live if you like to connect with nature. There's lakes, hiking, and all kinds of wildlife. The down side is that it's a little too quiet sometimes. You have to drive at least half an hour to do any kind of shopping, and there's not many places to hang out on nights and weekends.
Review Albrightsville
I love living in the mountains. It's so peaceful here. The only downfall is that it's not close to anything. Walmart is 30 minutes away. Any type of entertainment, except ski resorts & paintball, are 30 minutes away. There's no public transportation.
Albrightsville is a cute little village with lots of outdoor activities. We have great fishing on our beautiful Big Boulder Lake that brings a diverse group of people from all over. A ton of people from New Jersey/New York have moved here in the past 20+ years. You can take an airboat ride on the lake as a family friendly activity as well. We also have Big Boulder Ski Resort and Split Rock Country Club seconds up the road.
