Albion Reviews
Rating 3.75 out of 5 8 reviews
Albion is a great little village with Down home restaurants such as Village house for homemade good food, For the kids and adults there is Dubbys games located in the industrial area in town for corn hole and plenty of other games and fun. Albion has awesome community backed sports "GO PURPLE EAGLES!" a highly ranked Football team, tennis , cross country and much more. ALBION HAS THE BEST SEASONS. Snow mobile riding or four wheeler riding around! lake is 12-15 min away to enjoy watersports Especially for ages 20-40.if you can't find a way to have fun and adventure in the best country living area in upstate NY then you must be an indoor Netflix cable watching couch potato which is fine too because with no hustle and bustle and city noise you can be a couch potato indoors or out here in Albion NY. BTW OUTSIDE BACK YARD CAMP FIRES ARE THE BEST AROUND HERE. SO BREAK OUT THE SMORES OR THE BEER UNDER NIGHT SKY IN THE SUMMER, WARM SPRING OR FALL AND ENJOY GOOD TIMES Albion NY is HOME.
Smaller community with NOTHING to do if you are in the age bracket of 20-40. it's cheap to live which is nice but that is because there is nothing to offer. I have lived here for a while and I will be leaving soon enough. The schools are solid, SPORTS SUCKS so if you have kids in any sport good luck.. The school does not care at all about athletics. There is only 1 restaurant in town and its a C at best. The fast food consists of BK , MCDS , KFC.... That's literally it. If you want to go to another place to eat worth a damn, Medina is the nearest town (15 mins) away. It's about 45 MIns to Rochester and an hour to Buffalo. The people are laid back , WEATHER IS HORRIBLE! Yes the summers are nice but you get MAYBE 10 weeks of consistent 80 degrees and that's a MAYBE. The rest of the year is wet or cold. It snows from November to April! You see the sunshine maybe 1/3 of the time, the rest is cloudy and DEPRESSING. I'd rather live in the deep south and be hot than be here any longer!
Albion is a nice little town. Convenient places to shop and eat. The grocery markets are always clean and well stocked, and the community seems to come together for events throughout the year.
