My experience living in Albert Lea has been great! I love that the town is small enough that we're able to know a lot of the people, but big enough that there's stuff to do. I would like to see better shopping opportunities for teenagers in Albert Lea; our mall doesn't have the best stores.
Review Albert Lea
I grew up here. Unfortunately, there is not much here for people under the age of 50. All town decisions seem to be made with the elderly population in mind. Considering they make up a good portion of the population, that makes sense. However, it pushes away younger folks who would either stay here or move here. There is little to do, jobs are few and far between, and the housing market is terrible.
I have lived in Albert Lea most of my life. It's a nice and quiet town. I just wish there were more businesses and job opportunities. There is not a lot to do here if you are bored and looking to go out and do something fun or out shopping for new school clothes.
