Albert Lea is a small town with the I-35 and I-90 intersection. A lot of people refer to our small town as a "drug town," or "the dirty." I would like to see Albert Lea change the ways that others think of us. Fountain Lake in the middle of town is currently being dredged and I hope to see improvements in the lake and how others treat us because of out dirty lake. Growing up in this town after my parents and grandparents have grown up here has shown me that this town is based a lot on politics and your last name. But after all of the bad there is good in this town. You meet your friends of a lifetime and do things that you'll never forget; from high school sports to making up ridiculous games with your friends on the weekends because there is nothing else to do. My overall experience with Albert Lea has been surprising and unforgettable.

My experience living in Albert Lea has been great! I love that the town is small enough that we're able to know a lot of the people, but big enough that there's stuff to do. I would like to see better shopping opportunities for teenagers in Albert Lea; our mall doesn't have the best stores.
Very small town, not much to do. The people here can be decent. There are many people who are wannabes. People often will leave Albert lea to go to the surrounding areas to shop, eat, etc. There is a lake which most people spend their time on in the summer. It is a town full of old people, and if you are okay with that than it is a town just for you. Not much happens here.
