Crime & Safety
Tiny town with one church, a community park, and a gun shop. Rural enough to allow farm animals and horses. Homes have their own wells and septic systems. Neighbors generally are friendly and watchful of other homes. Safe. Good little town to raise a family. Most residents are retired or near retirement age. They like the quiet lifestyle and occasionally complain about traffic, noise, and places with unkempt yards. Property values are low because many homes have been redrawn into the FEMA floodplain placing restrictions on construction and requiring flood insurance for any federally insured mortgaged property.
Most of the businesses are very good. For the most part, you can get most of the things that you need.
The employment for the area is okay. There are some good jobs in the area.
