Aiken is a sweet Southern Equestrian town on the boarder of Augusta, Ga.
Since it's tucked away from all the hustle and bustle's of big city life, they're full of sweetness, uniquenes, and rich history. Definitely has what you may expect, from the neighbors gathering on their front porches drinking sweet tea watching the colorful S. Carolina sky as the sun dips below the horizon. There's a celebrations that anyone will enjoy, like block parties, tours, and farmer's and craft markets. Most important event to note is Aiken's famous Steeplechase held in the Spring since 1930! Big Hats, cocktails and fast horses!

I love the fact that there is much culture, history, and engaging activities to immerse yourself into. The educational system here is excellent and there are many employment opportunities for a smaller area. There is a friendly and diverse mix of people here that provides a welcoming environment. This is a very safe area with lots of living options for homebuyers as well. Overall, I feel that Aiken is a wonderful and has something for just about family large or small!
Aiken is a small town in South Carolina that has been growing substantially. It is a very southern town that has a very big focus on Equestrian Life. You can see this downtown where horse statues, live horses, and features are all horse related.

Even the street signs in Aiken are adorned with images of horses. Because the town is small, commute times are very easy. You can get some one side of Aiken to the other in approximately 30 minutes with heavy traffic.

Although Aiken is a small town, it is still modern and continue to modernize with much better internet capabilities and commerce. I love living in Aiken because it is a safe place to live and suits my lifestyle perfectly.
