There is plenty to do around here! However it is a hot restaurant/bar spot, so it's definitely better suited for the college crowd or people who aren't looking to start a family just yet. The police are great at their jobs though and do a really good job about keeping everyone safe.
I loved living in Addison, a suburb of Dallas. It is very close to Downtown which makes you feel being very connected to the metropolitan region. On the other hand the structure of Addison is more like a nice little suburb of a fast paced mega city which offers single family houses, town homes, schools and a variety of parks and outdoor activities as well as shopping possibilities. The work life balance in Addison is great since the commute to the thriving North Dallas district with its top company locations is very short. All in all I think Addison is one of the greatest areas to live in the Dallas Forth Worth area because it combines all needs.
Growing up in Addison, I have watched it transform a lot over the years. It went from a quiet small community to a booming little town. Between the corporations and restaurants that have come into this town, there is never a dull moment. From Kaboom Town on July 3rd to the Taste of Addison in the month of May, this town is full of things to do and places to eat!
