Working in Ada
Ada is filled with some of the most beautiful, loving, and kind people. Everyone is so helpful! I have made some amazing friends while living here. There is not much of a night life and it's not that health-conscious friendly nor outdoorsy. There is a nice park, but not much outdoor recreation. But the people truly make the place.
I’ve lived here since I was 5yrs old, and am now 27. Ada definitely has that small town feel, where most people know each other, which is nice. Ada does need to improve on a lot of things, such as more recreational activities for families, better night life, and supporting local businesses. The schools are hit and miss, it honestly depends on the teacher whether or not your child gets a “good” education that year. The parks here are alright, nothing exciting. Overall, there’s not a lot to do here for anyone, and there’s a high crime rate. Put two and two together..
Ada has a great public school with a lot of people pushing kids to further there education. I moved here in the 8th grade and coming in from a smaller school I seen that there are a lot of great opportunities to be apart of a great community, weather it is serving, helping, or just being a supporter of the local football team. This city has really impacted me a lot through all of the many life long relationships that I made with really great people. Its also a very safe place and there are lots of law enforcement helping out in the school trying to show kids the correct path to take in life. I believe Ada is a really great place to be at.
