Ada is a small college town in Ohio, home to Ohio Northern University and a Wilson football production plant. The village, and especially the campus, are very beautiful; perfect for walks. There is a nice variety of restaurants, including Chinese, Mexican, Italian, several pizza choices, as well as fast food (McDonald's and Taco Bell). There is also a small movie theater where you can purchase tickets for only $4. There are a couple of grocery stores, gas stations, and a Rite Aid. There is a public park and a pool. The people are friendly, and even with all of the college students, the it's a very safe place. Bigger stores, like Walmart, are within a 25-30 minute drive. Considering its small size, there's not a great deal of opportunity here in terms of jobs and such, but if you are coming here for college or have found a job in Ada, I would recommend living here.
Review Ada
Ada is a very safe and small farming village. It is important to note that more than half of its population are students at ONU, and it seems that the remaining residents are staff/faculty at the school or corn farmers. Unsurprisingly, there is very little nightlife in Ada. Being a farm town, housing is very affordable, but job opportunities are limited.
Small town, friendly people. Would be nice to have more variety of stores closer than 30 minutes East or West. The University provides a lot of diversity for such a small town.
