I am blessed to have grown up here. It is away from the city life and more like a country feel. Many people are involved with all kinds of animals and generally mind their own business. Neighbors are far enough away to not bother you, but not so far that you can't be friends. The schools here suck, we have a good park that puts on events. The downside is that, unless you go to school here, all your friends are at least 30 minutes away. There aren't many young people around here.

I have been raised in Acton since I was five years old. It is really nice and quiet. I love that there are no street lights because at night you can sit outside and look at the stars. I also love that the property is large and allows for you to have horses. The Neighbors are very friendly. The only bummer is that if you need to go shopping the best bet is to go to Santa Clarita, Palmdale, or Lancaster.
Small town country life hidden right next to Los Angeles. You can be Downtown LA or to the beach in an hour but still enjoy the wide open spaces of the country. People are friendly, properties are big and you'll never struggle to find a parking space. Perfect for animal lovers and horse or dirt bike enthusiasts.
