I have never had to call my police in this area, however, there have been only a few occasions over the past probably three years that I have seen police get called to our street to settle a dispute. When this has happened they have been very quick to get there and resolve the matter. Since then the individual who this involved no longer lives in our neighborhood. Since then I haven't seen a police car on our street.

This area was a great place to live if you have a job in Traverse City and you don't want to live right in the city. Neighbors are generally very friendly but the yards are large so there is much more privacy and sense of personal space than you would find in the city. There is a beautiful golf course behind this street that I often walked my dog on (rarely did golfers get bothered by this) and there are plenty of trails down to Lake Michigan and through nearby State land.
The greater Grand Traverse area contains a healthy mix of locally owned businesses and big box stores so as to provide access to many everyday needs while presenting a number of unique smaller stores. The town, which is widely known as a vacation destination, has a growing craft beer/wine/foodie scene as well as a developing diverse art, music, and film culture.
