Ackerman Reviews

I grew up close to Ackerman, MS. I graduated from high school in Ackerman. It is a small town with many friendly people. Everyone knows everyone, and I know my children's friends because I went to school with their parents. Our little town is very safe. I am completely comfortable leaving my children at home (with my 16 year old daughter) after they get home from school. It takes me approximately 5 minutes to get across town to work. It's just a great little place to live and raise a family.

It is a pretty small area with not a lot to do for kids and teens. More suited for people of an older age. Not very much to do other than sit around or go to the park, but it's not too far away from other towns with better activities and places.
Ackerman MS is a small community town with one grocery store a fred's and dollar general. Food places you have Pap's bumpers, subway, Sonny's bbq, and cagels corner. In Ackerman you have one hospital and 1 nursing home. Its a small town with great potential.
