I live in the Preserve Suburbs in Accokeek Maryland and the experience has been wonderful! Beautiful homes, great amenities and nice neighbors.
Accokeek, Maryland is a great place to live. The area is relaxed with not to many things that happen to distract you. It is a small city, so you are bound to make friends with job owners or passersby. The people in there are friendly. Accokeek has planned events to bring the community together, if you wanted an involved living area. Everyone who lives in this city pretty much knows almost everyone. If you get bored of being in Accokeek, the neighboring cities are wonderful places to go. They provide lots of activities for their communities that Accokeek is welcomed to attend. Even though Accokeek is a small town, with just enough to provide, it is a great area for adolescents to grow in.
I live in a Maryland suburb about twenty minutes away from Washington, DC. I love being close to Washington, DC and Alexandria, Virginia. Traffic has generally increased over the past ten years that I have lived in the area. During peak rush hours, it takes a good thirty minutes to cover a stretch of five miles, which would normally take only ten minutes if there is no traffic. That is the only complaint I have about living in the area.
