I would like to see more attention given to elementary schools in poorer areas of the township. It's important to inspire a love of learning in elementary students, especially those of underprivileged backgrounds.
The junior and senior high schools are fair enough, and the high school is undergoing a large renovation.
Abington is increasing in size, resulting in more students in the school systems and more traffic and development.
The parks are given little care, especially in poorer parts of the township.
There are plenty of places to buy affordable food and wares.
People have little places to hang out besides the mall.

Very low crime, great school system! Always something to do between the Keswick Village, the Willow Grove Park Mall, and different attractions of the area. A little overcrowded and urban-feeling at times, however I cannot complain. Only thing we're missing is a movie theater...
Abington Township is a great place to raise a family just outside of the beautiful and diverse city of Philadelphia. Abington is very close to major malls, wide range of schools, shopping, restaurants, and more! The area is overall pretty safe. Highly recommend buying a house in Abington Township.
