Abington Township is an incredible place to live. We have wonderful small businesses and kind people, and I feel very safe in this community. Our school district is one of the best, I'd say, and the current high school renovations are greatly needed to improve the school situation. Overall, Abington is wonderful, but I'd really like to see more beautification. Everything is getting better. but some places could use a bit of help. Every so often, I do attempt to do my part in collecting trash from local parks and clogged street drains, and I always aim to make the gardens on our property look amazing. I think these sorts of environment improvements, especially plantwise, would be beneficial to not just the eyes of our people, but to our wildlife! Insects and birds would be very happy, and our pollinators would be thriving.

As a student of Abington Senior High School, who had transferred schools twice, I can say that this is one of the best public high schools in Pennsylvania. The school's athletics and chess teams are some of the best in the nation, to say the least. The teachers within this district are very supportive of their students and will spare time to explain details of curriculum after school (or just hang out). The district is not very busy in itself, so the communte is pretty agile. There are quite a few job oppotunities around. Cannot speak for the real estate, as I had not bought any of such. Same goes for Nightlife.
I enjoy the many recreational areas in Abington such as tennis courts and swimming pools. There is a strong police force so I feel safe in the area. I see a good amount of job opportunities available. The public education system is also pretty good with the Junior High and Senior High and the Elementary Schools. There is a large amount of diverse groups living in Abington. It can be a bit pricy to live in Abington. The Willow Grove Mall is close by and there are a lot of attractions. SEPTA is somewhat off/on so there can be annoyances commuting. It is also is near Philly which is good for seeing stuff there. The community in Abington is also helpful. Overall, Abington is a pleasant place to live in.
