Just moved here, love the atmosphere; there’s always a lot going on. The town is always full of people that love to talk and be friendly with. The train station is nearby so easy access to NYC is possible. Overall, I thought I would hate moving, but it hasn’t been so bad.
I love the family friendly environment. It truly is a very tight-knit community to say the least. Very easy commute, with many things in walking distance. I have been living here for over ten years with no problems, overall very safe.
Aberdeen is a really nice town. It is combined with Matawan for their school district. Overall, it is a pretty good school system. The school taxes are outrageous, and getting more and more all the time. I am happy the kids are quite comfortable with their upgraded heating and air conditioning, and I am sure they will “perform better in school”, but my bank account is getting less and less comfortable all the time. Other towns are worse, though.
