Coming from Loveland, Colorado to Aberdeen, South Dakota was a challenge kind of. My parents and I where on our way to dropping me off at college and before getting into Aberdeen it seems like there is no sign of life but as soon as I got into the town it reminded me a little bit of home, a smaller Loveland, Colorado. The town itself is really pretty especially now as the seasons change it's beautiful and the people in town are great they are respectful and kind and it has a feeling of familiarity in the town as if everyone knows everyone.
Aberdeen, South Dakota is an amazing place to live if you are interested in having plenty of opportunities while living in a safe and welcoming town. The neighborhood that I personally live in is full of young families with little children running around which a such a beautify sight. It just shows how the town is growing and how loving each of the families are to welcome new lives into the world. I never have to to worry about having to look over my shoulder when walking down the street or be scared that at any time someone could go crazy and harm lives. I think living in this town has set such a high standard for where I would like to live in the future and I am not quite sure that I could possible find a better place then I am at.
Aberdeen, SD is an amazing place to grow up and to raise children. It's home to so many different parks that are top of the line for different ages. Storybook Land is a featured, great place for family outtings of all sorts. Overall, close-knit, well rounded community.
