Living in Appalachia valley is hard sometimes due to the high cancer risk but everywhere is small and quaint and I think that makes it better in a way. Compared to the city it provides a more comfortable down to earth feeling.
Since this area is a small town next to a farming community there seems to be a lot of ex-convicts that move into the cheap rentals. There are also many people who start drug trafficking/selling in the area.
Unless the family has lived here a long time they will move out within a year or two. Most of the neighbors keep to themselves.
