While attending Youngker High School for my all four years i rate it average. The academics here are poor because majority of the teachers are just handing out packets and we figure it out ourselves. The teachers are very nice though and the diversity is average, nothing really stands out. I feel somewhat prepared for college, the counselors always help us along the way and show us the process. The clubs and activities here are fantastic. There is so many you can choose from and even create your own. School Culture at youngker is amazing, everyone always participates and the assemblies and football games are always impressive. The administration is poor because they would rather worry over dress coding girls and little petty rules instead of helping us out. The food is average it always seems like the same thing and the food always taste bland. There is a wide range of sports to try out from and there is some great coaching.
Youngker High School has a great environment. The teachers are very involved and help support their students. It is high school so you can expect the typical group rivalries and clique formations. That being said, an overwhelming number of students are very welcoming towards their peers and campus guests. The 3 star review is based in school spirit. The athletic program does not have the best record and results in a lack of student support at athletic games and events.
