Yorktown High School Reviews
Rating 3.2 out of 5 10 reviews
I've lived in Yorktown most of my life and it's not that great. There have been no opportunities for me, there's no place to work, the teachers don't care about you, and it's too small. I'm a senior now, and when I lived in North Carolina I had at least five college scholarship opportunities when I was in tenth grade, and I was supposed to graduate early. When I came back to Yorktown, they put me in the same classes I had already taken, they didn't help me with scholarships, and I didn't really learn anything.
I enjoyed YHS very much. Teachers were always very kind and would be willing to help you out with anything. The only thing that I wish it did better was challenge its students.
I enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendly approach the teachers had. They still taught the curriculum but tried to make it fun and enjoyable for the students.
