The administration and principal are so engaging and passionate about the school and have made so many amazing things happen within the last three years! In this span, we have started having homecoming parades starting in 2015, different pep rallies, like glow in the dark with glow sticks! We have raised over 20,000 dollars for Leukemia and Lymphoma after our principal said she would skydive and honored her commitment! County wide powderpuff with all the high schools in York County, County wide marching band expo, which have both been very successful! We have also have over 95 percent pass rates for all SOL tests. The students, community, and administration absolutely love this school and are proud to be part of the Falcon family!

I honestly enjoy going to York. We have a lot of extracurricular activities and electives, and all the teachers encourage students to pursue the in-school and out-of-school opportunities offered. The reason that York isn't five stars is a mixture of the cockroach infestation, short time to move between classes, and the food. Despite these faults, I would still highly recommend students to come here. I've been to a lot of schools in my life, and York is by far the most accepting, welcoming, and has the most chances for personal growth. The teachers want classes to be fun and engaging, and nearly everyone has formed a close bond with multiple teachers. I proudly say that I am York High Falcon and that York is my home school.
Very safe, spirited, and lively! The sports are amazing and very top quality, that is which balanced with the wonderful study programs we have to offer. The school gives us so many opportunities to so many things, career, scholarships, and new activities!
