I loved going to Tech! I graduated in 2016 from the Culinary Arts department. I took so much of my culinary skills with me to my adult life. The only major complaint I have about Tech is that they claim to be a "college ready" school. I would have been ready for a technical/trade college. I was not prepared for an academic college at all. I struggled so hard in the beginning of my college career, even though I took a lot of AP and honors courses. Besides that, I loved my teachers and technical instructors. I would recommend the school to any middle school student who is interested in learning a trade, and any student who thinks that they would not be interested in going to an academic college.
I was also the only person in my graduating class who played on the volleyball team for all four years. Those were the most fun times of my life, I enjoyed that sport so much. Coach Glass taught me so much about not just volleyball, but about life as well.

YCST prepares students to enter the workforce with real experience and hands-on learning. Every technical program offers different skill sets which can be used to receive certifications or continue onto with post-secondary education. Lots of diversity within the student body! Working within the CO-OP Student program can even allow students to work in their technical areas and build an extensive resume.
I had many teachers who genuinely cared about me graduating; some seemed to care more than I did. This school was always very clean, I remember seeing janitors cleaning up bathrooms, hallways, etc. There is more than bad - I definitely suggest it over York Suburban!
