Yeshiva of Greater Washington Girls Division Reviews
Rating 3.36 out of 5 25 reviews
Yeshiva of Greater Washington Girls Division is an amazing private school for Jewish girls in the Greater Washington community. I really enjoyed my experience in middle school and high school at Yeshiva of Greater Washington. I had amazing teachers, principals and support. The dual curriculum of general and Judaic studies provides students with a broad and balanced education. The school provides students with roots in Torah, passion for learning, and preparations for life through their school curriculum, mini course options and extra curricular activities. I especially enjoyed my time at Yeshiva of Greater Washington because of the unique friendships between students in all grades, and relationships with teachers and administration. I enjoyed the small classes with focused attention for each student. I really enjoyed my time at Yeshiva of Greater Washington.
The Yeshiva is an incredible school! The teachers are incredible, and really care about all their students. The school facility works hard to help every girl succeed. The students are are a wide mix from the Jewish community, and every girl feels valued for what they are. The Jewish experience in the school is beautiful - the teachers live what they teach, and work to pass on the depth and beauty of Judaism. The secular studies are also strong, and they offer AP classes, honors classes. An amazing place!
While the school had some wonderful teachers, some were seriously lacking in a secular education. Grades were often determined by the clothes the students wore and not their performance. Leadership routinely disrupted the school schedule by allowing their classes to run over time.
